Sana is an Animation major and Creative Writing minor with aspirations to become a full-time author or screenwriter. She's always had a deep passion for psychological and trauma-driven narratives in YA fiction. Sana was born in Texas, spent fifteen years in California, and returned home in 2020. When she's not writing, she's sweating over her college workload, reading something intense, or cuddling with her five cats (you read that right).
Traitor of the Veil began as a short story assignment in Sana's Advanced Fiction Workshop class, and it slowly grew into a world she's proud to share. She loves writing characters that resonate with underrepresented communities, especially the mental health community. Her protagonists aren’t perfect — they’re human. They’re real. And Sana hopes they encourage readers to embrace their own flaws, too.

When I first walked into my Advanced Fiction Workshop class, I didn't know that I was going to eventually complete a 50K manuscript. Life throws twists like that, I guess.
Traitor of the Veil started as a small, ~3K short story. I immediately saw the potential. I felt like I had so much more story to tell, and not enough space to tell it in a class.
Thus began my journey. I stayed up until 3 A.M. every night, feverishly pouring out my ideas. It started messily, as almost all manuscripts do....
